DATA offers 3 different kinds of ways for students to earn credit. They are listed with the most common first
1. DAY SCHOOL
Description
- Students earn full high school diploma
- Small classroom settings with a student to teacher ratio goal 20:1 or less
- Unique, cutting edge technology through elective classes
- Average enrollment only 300-350 students (for all grades, 9-12)
- Two ways to earn college credit for little or no cost
- Closely connected to CNM film school
- Hours for Day School are Monday-Tuesday-Friday 8 am to 3 pm and Wednesday-Thursday 8 am to 2:15 pm
- Tuition free charter high school
Enrollment
* Space is limited. Files must be complete before they can be reviewed by an administrator & the registration process can move forward.
Description
- Courses taken through the state-approved E2020 online curriculum
- Core classes plus a few online electives offered
- Students work at their own pace
- Licensed teachers available to give one-on-one assistance
- Hours are Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30 pm
- No cost if this is the student’s primary high school
Night School Enrollment
- Same as DAY SCHOOL above, except register Monday-Friday 9:30-3 pm
Description
- Online courses through E2020 can be taken from home
- Students may work independently at home or at DATA (during Night School hours)
- Classes must be completed by May 21, 2009, or by home high school’s deadline
Distance Learning Enrollment
- Cost is $175 per half credit/semester class
- Payment must be in cash, cashier’s check, or money order
- Register at the school between 9:30 am and 3 pm
